Elementary School Librarian
Please tell us about yourself.
I grew up in New Jersey. I developed a love of writing and reading at a young age. That led to working as a writer across different platforms including newspapers and magazines. When I’m not reading, I love music and gardening.
How did God bring you to work at EC?
In 2021, as the pandemic afforded me some time for serious thought and prayer, I knew that God had a plan to use my experience in writing and reading, I just didn’t know what it was! It turned out, He opened the door for me to lead the library program at EC’s elementary school. This was the perfect opportunity to show young learners the potential they have to grow as they read more and more. I love introducing students to the joys of reading and writing!
Why Eastern Christian School?
I am so proud to be a part of the Eastern Christian family. I know that God is at the center of every decision and direction the school takes. That gave me a huge amount of confidence to come on board as a staff member. I know we are all working together to glorify God in the midst of our students’ education.
